Mouth: interior: thin band of glaze, row of vertical stripes, thin band of glaze around interior of mouth, band of glaze just inside vessel; exterior: band of rays; body: female head in profile, wears sakkos, stephane, earring, and necklace with detail in added white, head flanked by volutes and vegetal fans , teardrop to left of face, palmette-fan under handle; below: band of glaze, band of sinuou s three-sided sigmas, band of glaze; bottom: alternating bands of black and red glaze; entire exterior of vessel in red glaze with decoration in black glaze with metallic sheen and added white
