Abstract
The New York Peace Society was founded in 1906 with Andrew Carnegie's substantial financial support; he was elected President in 1907. The Society's mission was to educate people on Hague Conferences, and creation of international laws and organizations. In 1940 the New York Peace Society merged into the World Alliance for International Friendship through the Churches, an organization closely affi liated with Carnegie's Church Peace Union, and amply documented in the Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs Records.
