She speaks about the hesitancy towards vaccinations, especially among health providers. She discusses the limited amount of vaccines in New York City, her children's and her own social life, the experience of going to vote as a family, and tension experienced in her neighborhood as a lesbian. Messe also talks about becoming healthier and how she is looking forward to a day without a mask. This interview was originally the second session of a two-session interview, but the first session was lost before the interview was transferred to the archives
