The Brooklyn Spelling Reform Society held its first annual meeting last evening at Adelphi College. Eugene C. Adler, Principal of Adelphi Academy, spoke a few words of welcome, introducing Charles S. Carrington as temporary chair man. There were only about seventy members present, but they organized as an association, adopted a constitution and elected officers. Dr. William L. Felter, principal of Girls High School, was elected president; Charles S. Carrington, vice president; Miss Maude Rollins Osbourne, secretary, and George A.
