Photographer: a Western tourist Annotation on back: Woman rolling up her sleeves as monks, young men, women, and children march through the centre of Lhasa, calling for an end to price increases and s chool fees. Police later intervened when slogans changed to calls for independence. A number of people were injured and arrested.
