Abstract
Archival film footage of the "Peaceful Liberation of Tibet" in 1952, the arrival and work of the People's Liberation Army in Tibetan areas of Qinghai, Sichuan, etc.; also includes footage of Tibetan leaders meeting with Chairman Mao and the opening of the Qinghai and Tibet-Sichuan roads. the title of the first film is "光明 照耀著 西藏" (Guang ming zhao yao zhe Xizang), released in 1952.
