Abstract
In the first session, Hafsa Omar Khawaja describes the events of the COVID-19 pandemic's early days, her studies at Columbia University, coronavirus reports from Pakistan, celebrating Eid, and effect this period of living in New York has had on her mental health. In the second session (audio only), Khawaja gives updates on her routine in October of 2020. Some themes include visiting campus, what is closed and what is reopened, riding the subway, Columbia University testing protocols, and strategies of socializing. She discusses her family in Pakistan, who she had not seen since the pandemic had started
