- The host reads "The Walrus and the Carpenter" by Lewis Carroll. The host interviews people about who they plan to vote for in the 1972 presidential election. Opera music plays. Final part of the clip (of the host playing songs) takes place about a week after the 1972 presidential election, which occurred on November 7, 1972. "Sweet Virginia" by the Rolling Stones plays. "Acute Schizophrenia Paranoi a Blues" by the Kinks plays. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones plays.
