Clyde Kuemmerle speaks about his work, family, and background. Kuemmerle reflects on the experiences of unhoused people during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also talks about housing advocacy and the broken shelter system in New York City. He expresses frustration with the number of unhoused folks in New York City compared with the amount of vacant hotel rooms during the pandemic. He describes attempts to work with Councilperson Stephen T. Levin and Speaker of the Council Corey David Johnson on homelessness issues
