Abstract:
Petition, with signatures, addressed to Pavel Miliukov and signed by Jewish officers and soldiers who had already served in various military campaigns. They opposed the law prohibiting Jews from serving in the Army. Pavel Miliukov (1859-1943) was one of the founders of the liberal Kadet (Constitutional Democratic) party, represented in the State Duma, and a prominent Russian liberal politician of pre-revolutionary years.
