Abstract
On March 11, 1901 Carnegie sold out to J.P. Morgan for $480,000,000, a move which allowed Morgan to create US Steel, and made Carnegie the richest man in the world. This original caricature by Charles H. Ebert was intended for the March 1901 issue of Life magazine.
