Title
The Graduate Records Examination. Cover page
Abstract
Graduate Records Examination grew out of the project for the CFAT in the early 1930s to study the outcomes of college education. Carnegie Corporation of New York played a key role in funding the study, and then helping to accommodate the test to new realities after World War II, when a much larger student body began to pursue graduate degrees.
