- Carnegie Corporation funded a new building for the Julliard School as part of the Lincoln Center project. In this letter John D. Rockefeller updates Carnegie Corporation President Alan Pifer on the progress of the project. In 1969 the Julliard School moved into the new building from its earlier location on Claremont Avenue at 120th Street in Morningside Heights.
