- Abstract
- Oral history interview with Rezha Rinpoche from Kotse (Tib. Kho tshe) near Labrang; describes events in his home area in pre-Communist period, later tribal fighting with Chinese troops and massacre of Tibetan nomads by the People's Liberation Army, Democratic Reforms, background on some Amdo lamas at the time, his recognition as a reincarnation, relations between the monastery and local people, as well as relations between Repkong (Reb gong), Labrang (Bla brang), Kotse (Kho tshe ), and Dowi (Rdo sbis). He also describes monastic administration, the "Shis tsang lha sde", his flight from Labrang in 1956, etc.
