Abstract
This book advocates for an Abrahmani-feminist historiography that challenges dominant, homogenized narratives of womanhood by foregrounding caste, class, and religious intersections. Drawing on the ideological distinction between Brahmani (hegemonic) and Abrahmani (resistant) worldviews, it emphasizes structural critique rooted in Marx-Phule-Ambedkarite thought. The work critiques both nationalist and subaltern histories for neglecting the theme of gender, especially in the wake of globalization and cultural fundamentalism. It calls for an inclusive, intersectional feminist framework to reimagine social history and resistance.
