- Oral history interview with Markham Lobsang Sherap (Tib. Mar khams Blo bzang shes rab), born circa 1923 in Markham, son of the Radza (Tib. Ra-rdza?) family; describes his village of 32 families, traditional life and conditions in eastern Tibet (Kham, Khams), travel to Lhasa when 17 years old, and subsequent Chushi Gangdruk (Tib. Chu bzhi sgang drug) resistance activity in Tibet in the late 1950s; a lso discusses his work as a Khampa trader between Gangtok and Yunnan, events in Lhasa in 1959, and his excape to India.
