Abstract
"Requiem for a Writer" is an episode of the "Memoirs of the Movies" series, produced by Group W of the Westinghouse Broadcasting Company in collaboration with Columbia University's Oral History Research Office. In this episode, screenwriters discuss their experiences at the Hollywood studios. The episode is hosted by Sylvia Sidney and features the recollections of Anita Loos, Henry Meyers, Samuel S pewack, Dorothy Parker, Marc Connelly, Leo Rosten, Reginald Denham, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Ben Hecht, and Kenneth McKenna
