Anne Filipic is an American public servant, political campaigner, and policy advocate. She worked in a variety of roles for the Obama 2008 presidential campaign, including Iowa field director for the Iowa caucuses. During the first term of the Obama p residency, Filipic served as deputy White House liaison and deputy director of intergovernmental affairs for the Department of Health and Human Services from 2009 to 2010, deputy executive director of the Democratic National Committee from 2010 to 2011, and White House deputy director of public engagement from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Filipic left the administration to serve as president of Enroll America, a nonprofit organization that helped uninsured Americans access healthcare coverage through the Affordable Care Act. At the time of the interview, Filipic was serving in the Biden administration as assistant to the president and director of management and administration
