Abstract
Debra Eschmeyer discusses her contribution to the food and nutrition policy of the Obama administration, with focus on her service as executive director of the Let's Move! initiative and as senior policy advisor to the president on nutrition from 2015 to 2017. Eschmeyer outlines the Obama administration's approach to nutrition policy, providing details about initiatives and events in which she part icipated, such as the 2010 Child Obesity Summit and the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, and with which she was closely involved, including Let's Move! and its affiliated programs.
