Mario discusses the possible job opportunities for a Cuban industrial engineer. Later, he recalls the end of the Socialist Bloc. Mario discusses the racial problems he has experienced as a Black man while studying. He also discusses his disagreements with the Communist Party. Mario recalls the period of the rafters and discusses the departure of his brother, with whom he has no further ties since then. Mario discusses the role of the unions.

In the second session, Mario discusses the relationships he established through the internet and anti-Castro groups on Facebook and Twitter. Mario discusses the problems associated with the existence of the Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC). Mario then discusses the Special Period and the end of the Soviet Union.

In the third session, Mario recalls a dancer friend who went into exile. He also discusses with the interviewers what it means to narrate one's own life.

During the fourth session, Mario again recalls his father's imprisonment and the family violence that followed his release. Mario also discusses Cuba's structural problems and emigration.

In the fifth session, Mario discusses the actions of the Damas de Blanco movement

En la primera sesión, Mario dialoga sobre su infancia y la ausencia de su padre. Mario comenta el regreso de su padre tras once años en la cárcel. También recuerda la reconstrucción de su casa gracias al Plan San Isidro. Mario recuerda sus estudios preuniversitarios, sus primeros vínculos amorosos y los pequeños robos que realizaba en campos cercanos al Instituto Preuniversitario Saúl Delgado. Mario dialoga sobre las posibles salidas laborales de un ingeniero industrial cubano. Luego, recuerda el fin del campo socialista. Mario discute los problemas raciales que ha vivido como hombre negro mientras estudiaba. También discute sus discrepancias con el Partido Comunista. Mario recuerda el período de los balseros y dialoga sobre la partida de su hermano, con quien no tiene más vínculo desde entonces. Mario dialoga sobre el rol de los sindicatos.

En la segunda sesión, Mario dialoga sobre los lazos que estableció a través de internet y sobre grupos anticastristas en Facebook y Twitter. Mario discute los problemas aparejados a la existencia del Peso Cubano Convertible (CUC). Luego, Mario dialoga sobre el Período Especial y sobre el fin de la Unión Soviética.

En la tercera sesión, Mario recuerda a un amigo bailarín que se exilió. También dialoga con las entrevistadoras sobre lo que implica narrar la vida de uno mismo.

Durante la cuarta sesión, Mario vuelve a recordar el encarcelamiento de su padre y la violencia familiar que se desató tras su excarcelación. Mario también dialoga sobre los problemas estructurales de Cuba y sobre la emigración.
