- This booklet challenges the dominant and historically inaccurate narrative that portrays Dadoji Kondadeva, a Brahmin, as the guru of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It offers a categorical critique of the deliberate distortion of history aimed at reinforcing Brahmanical hegemony and undermining Shivaji’s autonomous legacy as a progressive and anticaste ruler.
