Abstract
The first donations to Columbia University (Astronomy Observatory, Teachers College, College of Pharmacy, etc.) were made by Andrew Carnegie himself and go back to the early 1900s. The Corporation has worked with Columbia ever since, with total donations exceeding 20 million dollars. This is a small sample of reports, produced by various Columbia University affiliates under Carnegie Corporation gr ants.
