Title
The Lokapala Offering Bowls to the Buddha
Abstract
This fragment is the left side of a relief that probably comes from the harmika of a stupa. The relief shows the Buddha with the Lokapala (Guardians) offering bowls, along with other worshippers. Two small figures appear in relief on the column at left. There is a distinct geometric pattern at the top of the relief.
