- Abstract
- “St. Olaf has sent students around the world since 1968. In 1984, a course on development was added to the Global Semester’s curriculum. The course began with briefings at the United Nations and other development agencies dealing with issues of hunger, women, poverty, and population. The theoretical and experiencial merged with a visit to an Egyptian family planning project in a village called El B aaragheel.” (Transcribed from title card)
