Abstract
Sends Franklin the act of Congress for Dec. 23. Send Franklin a note relative to the act: Mr. Eikelins from Holland and resides in Connecticut. He has been writing back to Holland in order to pave the way for a commercial agreement between his country and America and to acquaint them with our views. Governor Trumbull has approved the correspondence. E ikelins has sent Colonel Diricks back to Holland to promote his views as he is connected with some of the best families there. Also sends Franklin a copy of the Congressional act on Canada passed January 1.
