Abstract
Sent Congress Washington's letter of April 12. The act of Congress on the subject of it is enclosed by which you will see that they did not agree to the request of the two officers but do not object to their remaining where they are. The proceedings of the court martial of the officers at Springfield are returned so that Washington may make a decision on them.
