- Abstract
- Sends Jay an anonymous letter he received: 4 Feb. 1785: Longchamp's friends are furious at the turn of events and Marbois' person may be in danger if measures against him are carried through. Longchamp has nothing to lose by such demonstrations since his debts are very large.
