- Abstract
- American vessels are admitted to Swedish ports on the same basis as those of Sweden. No difference in import or export duties. Thus protests both the laws of Massachusetts and New York which make a difference in duties paid by American ships and foreign ships in their ports. Hopes Congress will take measures necessary to rectify a situation which will be detrimental to the commerce of both nations.
