Illustration for article entitled, "Health Bonds for Children'. Here is one of the ways in which the A.I.C.P. invests your money. Are you satisfied with the investment?" Pages 13-15. Legend: When this mother appealed to the Association for assistan ce she was endeavoring to support her children by office cleaning. She was broken in health. The family was living in three small rooms, only one of which had any outside light. The children were neglected and underfed. How could they be otherwise? She was taken from her work and given a chance to recover her health and to care for her children. She receives an allowance of $55.00 per month. The two boys are twins.
