Rapalje's son ill treated by the Spanish for reading a newspaper at Natchez. Being from New York he had always read whatever he wished. If the printed matter was considered dangerous the publisher not the reader was punished. Also his son mistreated by having used some passionate words when angry. Wants Jay to send several ships with Rapalje's elder son down to Natchez to get his son and return him to his family.
