- Encloses letter for Mr. Morris, and if Vaughan should sail before Mr. Codman, has asked the latter to give Vaughan a packet of important letters, to be sunk if there is danger. Will mention Vaughan in code to Mr. Morris. Warmly recommends Mr. Moylan, who has to leave Cadiz. Asks to be remembered to Mrs. Morris and sends Mrs. Jay's compliments.
