- Encloses a copy of a letter from Messers Edm. Elmendorf and Jonathan Hasbrouck of Kingston respecting lands of the late Governor Livingston in the Hardenbergh Patent. John Jay's reply, also enclosed, refers the matter to Clarkson, Judge Hobart, and Mr. Watts, who have been appointed trustees to sell the late Governor's real estate.
