- Abstract
- Encloses letters from General Glover and Colonel Wigglesworth asking that their resignations be accepted. Washington asks that their requests be acted upon as soon as possible. The State of Maryland remitted payment to General Smallwood for a loan to the military treasury for a state bounty for its troops. Washington wishes to know whether Congress thinks it proper that he accept the money. In hand of Tench Tilghman.
