Orders that Col. Hamilton be paid eight hundred dollars for attending the Circuit Court of the U.S. at Hartford and defending the state of New York. This sum has been decided by Messers. Burr and Van Vechten, whose opinion appears at the foot of the enclosed letter written to them by the Attorney General stating the case.
