- Abstract
- On the papers delivered to him on Pollock and Beveridge cases, Diego de Gardoqui say Beveridge's case is risky. Pollock was at liberty in Havanna when Diego de Gardoqui arrived there though he was insolvent and his creditors wanted him imprisoned. There was an embargo on his goods. He was permitted to return to America on the promise that he would pay his debts on arrival. As yet he has not done th at. The debts of Pollock are on the around of the U.S. and Congress should pay them as soon as possible.
