Abstract
Post Office Convention: 1. to maintain a mutual correspondence to distribute the mails; 2. Postage on letters to be paid in the country from which sent; 3. procedure for sending mail between L'Orient and New York; 4. same for New York to L'Orient; 5. Consuls shall give receipt for mail delivered to them; 6. Record to be kept by Post Masters of L'Orien t and New York of the number of letters in packets delivered to them.
