- Abstract
- Franklin has paid all Jay's bills in favor of Cabarrus. Has a promise of six million this year to be paid quarterly. Will be able to pay two drafts on Jay. Asks for a list of all new bills on Jay. Britain wants a separate peace which is impossible. Holland is leaning toward us and hopes for a second loan from there. Would like to pay Spain off speedily since she does not think our friendship worth cultivating.
