Because of the lengthy period of careful maintenance and restoration by the present owners, Mr. and Mrs. Max Hill, the structure has, in recent years, been frequently identified as the Blacker-Hill house" -- Greene & Greene, architecture as a fine, by Randell L. Makinson, Salt Lake City, Peregrine Smith, 1977, p. 150.
