- Abstract
- Same as NNC: 8960. This is the autograph letter signed. Suggests that he come to New York on his way to the Oneida Indians. This will make it possible for Belknap to confer with State officials who have gone to visit the Oneidas, and horses and equipment may be purchased at New York. Jay will give him letters of introduction to men in Albany, Schenectady and Whitetown.
