Abstract:
Thanks John Jay for seed and letter of Feb. 11th. His and Mrs. Livingston's loneliness in the past winter. Begs Jay and family to visit them. Longs for fish. Asks John Jay to reassure Peter about his Latin prose style; he (Livingston) will not be a harsh critic. Thinks Peter should be encouraged in his flair for drawing.
