- Abstract
- The Chief and several members of the Tuscocora Indians are here. They have been allowed certain rights to the lands of the Oneid as but which for a more stable property. Suggests that the Tuscocoras remain in their present location near Niagara until the area is settled, and then go to live on Seneca lands. However, they really deserve a permanent claim of their own, perhaps a portion of Oneida ter ritory which would be confirmed by an act of the New York Legislature.
