- Abstract
- Returned to Trenton from Princeton; saw Colonel Morris last night and heard that John Jay was in Philadelphia. Wishes to call on him there, to express his thanks for petitioning Congress on his behalf. Still has no word of Mrs. Hamer. Since arriving at Trenton, has experienced nothing but civility, especially from General Dickenson.
