- Abstract
- Introduces Houdon, the sculptor, who carries this letter. Please send any news of the Algerians' alleged declaration of war. England gives trouble on the New England border, and has not yet evacuated the western posts. Consular convention still pending. A federal court will decide conflicting claims of New York and Massachusetts, and it is hoped that matter will soon be settled.
