Abstract
Acknowledges receipt of various letters and medals. Possibility of prohibition of foreign fish. Regrets little progress in finance in America--one reason for delay in legislative consideration of matter is Philadelphia Convention which keeps many members from Congress, preventing a quorum and, hence, any considerations.
