Name:
Jay, John, 1745-1829; Jay, Peter A. (Peter Augustus), 1776-1843
Title:
Document, 1800 January 02
Abstract:
He is not displeased with him, but has found it well to acknowledge all letters received to assure that all correspondence written reaches its destination. At times Peter tends to procrastinate, which is a bad habit, particularly when engaged in important matters. To do so concerning minor matters, such as answering letters, is to establish bad habits. Three silver hilted swords, belonging to Jay's father and grandfather, were in Frederick Jay's possession, along with an old family seal. Consult with Munro concerning asking Frederick's widow for them.
