Document, 1811 November 25
Abstract:
Family news. Settlement with Mr. Lynch will not be as easy as first hoped. It has been found that due to ancient surveying methods, there is a strip of land between their two lots which belongs to neither party. It has also been discovered that Mr. Lynch's deed interferes with his neighbor's on the north, and any settlement depends on the outcome of this issue. As Mr. Munro intends to build and John Jay does not, the former is desirous that his share be in with his uncle's property.
