Abstract
Family news. Business is reviving and merchants are returning to their homes. The fever is probably extinct since it has never spread after such frosts as have occurred recently. Will see by the newspapers that he anticipated John Jay's advice to decline being a candidate. The only contest there is between Noah and Windower for the office of sheriff; it is said the latter will succeed.
