Abstract:
Little news to report, but John Jay will continue to write, as NancyÆs eyes hurt when she makes the effort. His rheumatism is better now. Peter was in New York, William has gone back to New Haven. The weather has been cool; continued frost has cost them much of their early fruit. SallyÆs hen has been killing the chicks of others; they have her confined.
