Abstract
Cautions against writing more than is prudent in letters; it is better to be discreet and say too little than too much. Peter Jay has gone to New York; his health is much the same. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Munro came for a visit and left Harriet. Regrets SallyÆs long absence from home but approves her reasons for staying away.
