- Abstract
- Does not understand why her letters have been lost; she and Susan sent them through Mrs. Ferguson who promised to send them as soon as she got to Philadelphia. Is very anxious and impatient to see her husband again. Kitty (Catherine Livingston) wishes to know where she will be for the winter. General Knox sent an invitation to his quarters at Pluckemin to celebrate the alliance with France, and Bro ckholst (Livingston) might be there. Little Peter Jay has been very ill with worms but is now better. Her own health has been excellent this winter, but her spirits are lower when she writes and thinks about this separation.
